If you’re feeling sick and tired these days, you are far from alone…but what you may not know is that feeling this way isn’t just from the everyday stresses of life. In fact, it is far more insidious than that. And chances are, your doctor is missing the biggest epidemic of all times…
Ever Notice Everyone is Sick & Tired These Days?
Have you ever noticed how everyone is struggling with their health wherever you turn? Whether it is from fatal diseases to fighting the battle of the bulge – we are dealing with skin conditions, asthma, heart disease, mental health issues, food intolerances, fibromyalgia, dementia…the list is endless. But why?
And when you go to the doctor, and your test results come back ‘normal’, they tell you it is ‘stress related’, or a ‘mental health issue’ – yet you *know* something else is going on – you just don’t know what! You are desperate for answers – and relief.
The Answer is Right Here…
Chances are you are right – something huge is going on regarding your health and your doctor is most likely completely missing it! And although eating unhealthily and living a sedentary lifestyle is part of the problem – it isn’t the root problem…
What I am about to share with you is not only highly important, but it may sicken you..millions of you, in fact. Brace yourself!
It is estimated that millions of Americans (and of course, that would be a similar statistic for Canadians, Europeans…and everywhere else) are dealing with parasite infections. (Some websites state that up to 95% of us are infected). The CDC ‘warns of common parasites plaguing millions of Americans’.
It’s now been fairly well-established that chronic infection is an underlying factor in most chronic illnesses. Diseases such as Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and chronic fatigue are all turning out to be expressions of chronic infections.
What is a Parasite?
Parasites eat and live off the food we consume, even our health supplements. In fact, pernicious anemia is a great example as its root cause is parasites feeding off the host’s B12 supply.
They leave us the scraps. They often make us feel that we are not getting the nutrition from our food or that SOMETHING IS MISSING.
The word parasite comes from Greek meaning “one who eats off the table of another”. In other words, these little buggers are eating off of you aka – their table.
Parasites are also considered to be a toxin. Many people with fibromyalgia and CFS are starting to get a Lyme disease diagnosis – Lyme is now considered not just to be a tick-borne disease, but that it can come from fleas, mites and spiders too.
However, Lyme disease is one of the many issues going on regarding parasite infections for many people – it is just one that is becoming more recognised and heard of in the mainstream.

Two Types of Parasites – Large & Small
1. Worms (large)
Whilst in an immature form, worms can travel through your blood stream and infect any gland, organ or part of your body. Depending on the type of worm, they can grow anywhere from several inches up to many feet in length.
Worms can lay thousands and up to millions of eggs each day.
The eggs stick to the walls of our intestines and can be microscopic in size. These large worms are called HEMINTHINS or INTESTINAL NEMATODES. The fish tape worm is the largest of the human tapeworms and can reach up to 33 feet in length or more!
Thinking of going vegan? Here’s a good reason – Fish, beef and pork have tapeworms. (Problem is, chances are you are already infected…). Ps. Organic food will still have parasites!
Worms of All Kinds…
As there are 1000s of parasites out there, and in order to keep this article short(ish), I have chosen the top worm parasites that many of us are infected with, to give you just a brief example of what they are and how they are affecting your health.
Roundworms – This specific type of parasite can lay 200,000 eggs a day and grow up to 15 feet long. Estimates show that 1 billion people are infected with this one.
- upper abdominal discomfort
- weight loss
- rashes (due to the secretions or waste products from the worms)
Large numbers of roundworms can cause blockages in the intestinal tract, haemorrhages when penetrating the intestinal wall, abscesses in the liver, hemorrhagic pancreatitis, loss of appetite, and insufficient absorption of digested foods (Hello leaky gut syndrome cause…!). (1)
Hookworm – This parasite afflicts over 700 million people. Hookworm infection induces a complex mixture of host-protective and pathological immune responses. The larvae of hookworm penetrate the skin. When hookworms reach adulthood, they can sap the victim’s strength, vitality and overall well-being.
Young worms use their teeth to burrow through the intestinal wall and feed on your blood.
- abdominal pain
- loss of appetite
- protein deficiency
- dry skin and hair
- skin irritations
- distended abdomen
- mental dullness
- iron deficiency (B12/pernicious anemia)
They can even eventually cause cardiac failure. (2)
Pinworms – A pinworm infection is caused by Roundworm. It infects one in five children.
- itching and irritation of the anus or vagina
- digestive disorders
- irritability or nervousness
You might also show no symptoms at all. Female worms crawl out of the anus and lay about 15,000 eggs per day. Once airborne, the eggs can survive about two days anywhere in your living environment. The worm is white and can grow to about half an inch in length. (3,4)
Whipworm – These infections are estimated at several hundred million worldwide.
- bloody stools
- pain in the lower abdomen
- weight loss
- rectal prolapse
Haemorrhages can occur when worms penetrate the intestinal wall, and bacterial infections usually follow. They can be 1 to 2 inches in length. (5)
Tapeworms – These may grow to 35 feet long and live ten years inside a person’s intestine. Some tapeworms can lay as many as one million eggs per day. Their bodies are in separate segments with hooks and suction cups on their skull. (6)
Found in dogs, sheep, cows, fish and pork. (PS. Eating raw/undercooked fish (ie. sushi) is a great way to get tapeworms…).
- Stomach pain (the most common symptom)
- Vomiting or nausea
- Weight loss
- Loss of appetite (but increased appetite if infected with the beef or pork tapeworms)
- Vitamin B12 deficiency (which can lead to anaemia)
Interesting Side Note – Many parasites have a lunar lifecycle…you know how many people struggle to sleep and have increased health issues such as pain, or mental health issues during a full/new moon? Guess why? Your little friends are having a lovely little orgy in your body…as they reproduce.
2. Protozoa (small)
Protozoa can invade any cell in your body and travel through your bloodstream like bacteria or a virus. They reproduce by dividing themselves much like bacteria do.
Tests are 1% Accurate!
If you actually DO get a test from your doctor, then chances are it will be 99% incorrect!
Michael Biamonte, from the Biamonte Center for Clinical Nutrition, explains more and he also highlights some concerning figures about other illnesses now connected to parasites. (But goodness only knows that Big Pharma doesn’t want you to find this out – think of all the medications being prescribed for the plethora of symptoms parasites are causing!)’.
It is now being considered that perhaps 50% of all cancer, diabetes, asthma, arthritis and heart disease comes from parasites!
That is a horrible and shocking possibility to face. That we, as a country, could be infested with disease causing parasites and not know it makes no sense. However, let’s examine some facts. It has been determined that the average hospital or lab is only able to catch 20% of the actual cases. Over 1000 species of parasites can live in your body and there are tests available only for 40 to 50 types. This means that your doctor, should he decide to test you, can only hope to find 5% of the parasites that can be tested for at a accuracy rate of 20%. We are automatically missing 80% and have only a 20% chance of finding the remaining 5% that we can test for.
This ends up being a 1% accuracy.
I recently sent 5 patients to 3 different labs in New York City for parasite testing all within the same 1 week period. They all went directly to the labs and gave fresh stool samples. All 3 results on all 5 patients came back completely different. None of the labs were able to find the same parasites.
In a separate incident I had 3 patients collect stool samples. These patients saw live worms crawling in the sample so they rushed to the labs with the samples. THE RESULTS WERE NEGATIVE! And these were 3 different labs.
The Merck manual, which is studied by all of our physicians, suggests that human specimens should be collected for 3 days in a row or one every other day. Yet the Merck Veterinary Manual states that up to 10 samples may be needed!
It further states that when looking for parasite eggs in the stool to confirm diagnosis: “The counts may be negative or deceptively low in the presence of large numbers of immature worms; even when many adults parasites are present”.
This confirms that parasite testing is very inaccurate. This is why we can have such an epidemic and it is going unnoticed.
9 Out of 10 Parasite Infections Are Caused By…
You are more likely to get a parasite from your lifestyle than infected water! Studies show that, 9 times out of 10, parasite infections are actually lifestyle-induced, not environmentally-induced.
The biggest cause of parasite infections is actually a weakened immune system. It’s a two-way street. Living a lifestyle that weakens the immune system is the most likely way to attract a parasitic infection; this is because a weakened body is a breeding ground for them. It is their job as the universal garbage men to clean up waste. A sick body is a wasting body and therefore, food in a parasite’s world.
Combine this with your gut being completely out of whack regarding a lack of good bacteria to fight the baddies, due to antibiotics use (as a prime example) – and you have the perfect storm!
Parasites are Party Animals!
They like to live life on the edge…
- Late nights
- Little sleep
- Junk and processed foods
- Negativity (Yep! We are dealing with cellular creatures here – and negativity affects our cells! They literally feed on negativity!)

In 1979, a British study reported on 600 former prisoners of war from WWII. These men had been stationed in the far EAST. Thirty years after the war, 15% were still infected with a parasite called STRONGYLOIDES that they had contracted during the war.
What does this mean? THIS MEANS YOU COULD HAVE EATEN MEAT 10 YEARS AGO AND STILL BE HOSTING TAPEWORMS AND OTHER PARASITES THAT WERE IN THE MEAT.
It also means that if you don’t treat this issue properly and eradicate the parasites (and on an ongoing basis), your health may be seriously affected in the future, if not already.
How to Eradicate Parasites
Firstly, it is important to know several things, as mentioned above, if you actually do get a parasite test conducted, there is a high chance that it will be inaccurate, to begin with. You could spend a lot of time (and money) chasing after a test result that is not going to be accurate in the first place…
- A cleanse that gently removes parasites is important to do at least 2x a year. I highly recommend this cleanse, because it is gentle, it works, it tastes pleasant and you can still eat real food with it. (I have first-hand experience of using this cleanse and I have visible proof that it works! (I won’t share the pictures here…but one word – ‘nasty’ – springs to mind (as has OMG on many occasions!).
- Kick out the crap! Your unhealthy foods – eat wholefoods, scrap the sugar. Try to eat an organic, plant-based diet. Kick out the crap with stress and negativity too! Your body will thank you for it! (Your little friends living in your body will not!).
- Introduce healthy bacteria into your gut. Sauerkraut is an excellent, vegan, probiotic option. Check out my recipe for homemade sauerkraut with ginger, garlic and carrots here. By improving your gut health in a combination with a cleanse and eating foods that parasites don’t like, you have a good, fighting chance!
Antibiotics treat bacterial infections – NOT parasitic infections. Antibiotics are conventional medicine’s answer to treating parasites. They don’t necessarily kill the parasites – or their eggs.
What they do is kill the bacteria in the parasites innards – leaving the eggs… In other words, they will grow back! What they also kill is the good bacteria in your gut – which is there fighting hard for your already weakened immune system. And of course, there is the issue of taking too many antibiotics and continuing to weaken your immune system overall…
Food For Thought…
We regularly worm our cats, dogs, horses…why wouldn’t we also be equally concerned about worming ourselves?! We are just as susceptible as our pets are… (Comment below!).
The realization that we are experiencing an absolutely massive epidemic is starting to slowly come more to the foreground regarding parasite infections.
However, chances are still extremely high that your doctor is not going to be clued up on this for years, and will be pawning off your feeling sick and tired to the medication gods to deal with (aka Big Pharma). And if they are more aware, there is the chance that the tests they carry out will be 99% inaccurate anyways! And then their treatment (antibiotics) are equally as useless. Therefore, the answer? Treat yourself, as a starter, or seek out a functional health practitioner that specializes in parasites.
